LEGO Minifigure Family Combines Two Things I Love #sponsored

by Jenn

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of LEGO. All opinions are 100% mine.

I loved playing and building things with LEGOs when I was a little kid. Truth be told I still build things with them all the time. I will waste hours sitting in my kid’s bedroom floor making all kinds of things, from race cars to big houses fit for my daughters’ favorite dolls.

One thing I hate, and I’m sure a lot of you guys can agree with me, is sitting in a stuffy photography studio with fake un-convincing backgrounds and a photographers attitude to match the fake backgrounds all to take some pictures for this year’s family Christmas cards. I just learned of a cool website where I can go and combine two things I love with one thing I could live a thousand years without – LEGO Minifigure Family!

The two things I love… My family, and LEGOs. The thing I could do without… family pictures. I went to minifigurefamily.com, and made a Christmas card that I can share with friends and family through Facebook and twitter, or any other social media outlet I choose. I can even download my picture and print it out to send it by snail mail for all friends and family to keep and put on their mantles every Christmas.

LEGO Minifigure Family is a website by LEGO where you can go to turn your family into a mini figure LEGO family. Your Christmas card is fully customizable, with tons of options, from hats and hair, to a peg leg pirate. You can make it look just like you or you can make up a special character just for Christmas, you can even change the skin color. You can add up to 13 figures, if your family is that big, or you can add your cats and dogs.

Between the six of us people, and the seven animals that live with us I was able to put all of us on one card with names and all. When you choose your background you can move each figure around to get the look you want. The backgrounds you can choose range from a tropical island scene, to the north pole. You can even choose from different religious backgrounds. When you’re done with your mini figure family Christmas card you can share it on your favorite social media site, or you can download it to your computer and print it out and share it the old fashioned way.

If you love LEGOs and your family but hate taking photos for the family Christmas card, go check out minifigurefamily.com and make your own custom mini figure LEGO family Christmas card, it’s fun, its easy, and its way better,(and cheaper) than going to a “professional” photographer. Even if no one else likes your LEGO mini figure family Christmas card, it will be something that you and your kids can create and enjoy.

Swing on over and make your own card, it’s fun, easy, and you’re going to love it.  You can find everything you need at LEGO Minifigure Family.

I think Lego's have been around ever since I can remember and I'm sure will still be going strong hundreds of years from now. This is an item that people of all ages like to join in and play with. It's amazing the things you can make. My grand kids did get Lego's this year for Christmas and of course it was a big hit.

Our grands love Lego's and so do I because they keep them occupied and stretch their imagination. One day they just built towers to see how high they could build them before they fell down. Another day they played with a new set of farm animal figures & built barns and fences with their Lego's.

I think everyone has memories of playing with Lego as a child. I'm really looking forward to the Lego movie.
