Extreme mountain biking. Kayaking. White water rafting. Mountain Climbing. Skydiving. Riding a motorcycle. All of these sound like really fun things to do for thrill seekers. Well, maybe not the motorcycle thing, that’s a little more mainstream. Unless of course you’re riding around in a pack. But these are all things that I don’t do. My extreme thrill seeking is a little more tame. It involves things like going to the park and managing to survive a toddler meltdown when it’s time to leave the swings. Or going to the beach on vacation and not dragging 15 pounds of sand back into the room.
But whether you are into extreme thrill sports or extreme toddler wrangling (there should be a professional sports organization for that, kind of like bull-riding), you want to capture the moments that make the good memories of your life. The hubby is forever lamenting the fact that he has no pictures or video of his one scuba diving trip to the Bahamas. To this day I’m still not sure I believe his story about the shark swimming right by his head. But it would be cool to have seen the sunken ships that he swam through.
